# Integrating with Intercom

Directly connect your Emailable and Intercom accounts.

Connect Emailable to Intercom to verify customer email addresses and view deliverability insights directly from your inbox. This helps maintain accurate customer records and improve the quality of communication.

## **Connecting to Intercom**

After signing in to your Emailable account, click the **Get Started** button, or **New List** if you have already verified a list with us. A new modal appears, prompting you to select a list source.

Click the Intercom option to sign into your Intercom account and grant permission to Emailable.

## **Verifying an Intercom List**

Once access has been granted, you'll be prompted on your Emailable dashboard to select a source from your existing Intercom contacts.

After importing the list, click **Verify** to watch it verify in real time.

Once verification is complete, click **View Results** to view and analyze the health of your Intercom data.

## **Export Data Back to Intercom**

On the results page, you'll find the **Exports** tab at the top of the dashboard.

Select it, then click the **New Export** option

A new modal will appear, allowing you to include or exclude specific verification categories and filters in your export. After making your selection, click **Send To Intercom.**

Choose the option that best suits your needs.

| Export Option | Included Email States |
| Maximum Deliverability | This export contains Deliverable emails |
| Maximum Reach | This export contains Deliverable, Risky, and Unknown emails |
| Only Bad Emails | This export contains Undeliverable emails |

You'll receive a notification that the export is being sent to Intercom and an email once it's complete.

**Note:**

Unlike our other integrations, Intercom imports and exports may take longer than usual to complete due to Intercom's strict rate limits.

### **Exported Results in Intercom**

When you export the verified emails to Intercom, the selected emails are sent to your Intercom account, while the unselected emails are unsubscribed and assigned the "Emailable Unsubscribed" attribute, set to true.
